Lady Gaga Series:Alejandro

I love Lady Gaga's makeup in her music videos it is always very dramatic so I have decided to start a new series of posts. My first look is inspired by the music video Alejandro.

So here is the look in the video

This look is a dark red lip, contoured  cheek and a white and light gold shimmery  eye

I would prefer  a darker  red for the lip but I dont have a darker colour

Here is What I used

Here is how I Did It

1. Conceal any imperfections, undereyes with a creamy concealor (Beneft Boiing in Shade 02)

2.  Prime the eyes (Urban Decay Primer Potion)

3. Fill shape and fill in the brows, keep the brows thick at the start with a low arch she doesn't have much of a arch ( Mac 204, Mac 208 , Benefit primpcess)

4. Apply a shimmery white eyeshadow over the inner 3/4 of the lid ( Urban Decay Eyeshadow in Uzi, Mac 239)

5. Apply a light gold eyeshadow on the outter corner of the eye extending in a v shape (Urban Decay Eyeshadow in Maui Wowie, Mac 239)

6.Apply a thin line to the upper lid extending slightly further than the eye (Bobbi Brown Longwear Gel Eyeliner in Blacktrack, Mac )

7. Apply 2 coats of your favourite mascara (Urban Decay Supercurl Curling Mascara)
8. Contour your cheek bones and forehead with a powder a couple of shades darker than your skin colour (Benefit Hoola, Mac )

9. Apply a dark red lipstick or i applied a dark lipstick first and applied a red lipstick to the center ( Urban Decay Lipstick Gravity,Clinque High Impact Lipstick in Red-y to Wear, Mac )

10. Add a touch of gloss to the centre of the lips (Revlon Superlustrous Lipgloss in Firecracker)

And you have the finished look
