Lush Cupcake Face Mask Review

Lush cupcake mask is one product ive been wanting to try for a while. I have heard many blogger and youtubers mention this product and saying how good it is so I finally decided to try it.

Cupcake is a thick mud mask aimed towarss teenage skin/acne sufferers. I personally do not have very oily spot prone skin but i still wanted to try it.

So here is what the product looks like

Don't I look Sexy

What lush says

"It's action removes excess oil and calms breakouts. Rhassoul mud cleans and soothes. Cocoa butter, linseed and cocoa butter softens the skin. balancing peppermint, spearmint and sandalwood oils complete the effective and delicious experience."

Ingredients

Rhassoul Mud, Linseed Infusion, Glycerine, Talc, Cocoa Powder, Cocoa Butter, Fresh Mint, Sandalwood Oil, Vanilla Absolute, Spearmint Oil, Peppermint Oil, *Limonene, Perfume

Rhassoul mud has the property of extracting oil which is great for oily skin as ant excess oil can be removed preventing spots

Glycerine is a water absorbing molecule, it can carry the effective ingredient to the where it is need other than the product just laying on the skin

Peppermint oil is used to cool the skin as it causes blood vessels to dilate

My thoughts

the first thing you notice about this product is the smell, It smells like mint chocolate which is lovely , it smells delicous to me, unfortunely it is not to be eaten. the mask on aplication is very thick and can be crumbly especially if it is not kept in the fridge. This product is easy to apply and use. I leave this a mask on for 10 minutes and then wash it off in the shower. This mask drys on your face and feels tight on the skin which is a weird but good feeling. You can also smell this product on your face. Once I have removed this product my skin looks fresh and feels so soft, any product on my face has also been removed. Since using this product I have had no breakouts even at the time of the month. I am thinking of buying this again and would reccomened this to anyone.

This product is alo suitible for vegans

What are your thoughts and Cupcake? Do you have any face mask recommendations?

Lots of Love
